Small
estates
Located in the heart of the Rioja Alavesa region, we are at the cutting edge of the grape selection process and pioneers in treating wood.
THE LINE DRAWN BY SINGLE-PLOT WINES.
Three small plots for three huge wines. Our vines have great personality and many are old bushed vines grown at high altitude.
The value of native grapes from wine-growing zones, their recovery and their typicality are an important factor in the search for quality and the exclusivity of having our own seal.

La Reñana
La Reñana is a vineyard growing Tempranillo, Viura and Malvasía grapes over 10 hectares, standing more than 600 meters above sea level, in the foothills of the Sierra de Toloño-Cantabria, between the villages of Laguardia and Elvillar. Its oldest vines date back to 1920, although most were planted from 1946 onwards. We should highlight that this estate, La Reñana, lends its name to one of our best-known, long-lasting, refined and full-bodied wines.

Parcela Nº5
This Tempranillo wine has an elegant salty feel which is surprising for vineyards located on limestone land with a clay loam texture and a notable salty influence.
Because the vineyards from Parcela Nº5, over 45 years old, are located in the Laguardia Lagoons Complex, 570 meters above sea level, in a biotope protected by Europe and with a mesosaline character.

Hoyo del Pintor is mainly a Tempranillo vineyard, with some Viura plants. It lies between the towns of Elciego and Lapuebla de Labarca, on soil with predominantly loam and limestone texture, at 480 meters above sea level.
Its oldest vines date back to 1930.
