Elaboration
Grape harvest. A selection of the best Viura and Malvasía grapes arrive at La Reñana Estate in 15 kg boxes to stop the skins from breaking and an easily oxidizable must from appearing.
Fermentation. Gentle pressing, after a light racking. The must begins and ends its alcoholic fermentation in French oak barrels, never exceeding 17-18 degrees.
Crianza. It stays in barrels and casks for 8 months, moving the lees twice a week. Once bottled, it is left in a bottle rack for 6 months to be refined before it is sold.
Wine tasting
Straw yellow with greenish iridescence.
High intensity, clean, floral, fruity and balsamic. Citrus aromas appear with vanilla nuances. All perfectly assembled by the oak nuances which give it great complexity by providing a base of cinnamon and a subtle nutty vanilla.
It is characterized by its freshness and a certain opulence derived from aging over lees. A wine that is easy to drink and highly versatile as this is a white with the soul of a red.
Pairing

Perfect as an aperitif, although given its oak aging it goes well with rice, meat and pasta dishes. Excellent with high quality Asian cuisine.
